Solo Driving Training Recommends: (Meeting Point)

Solo Driving Training - driving lessons are typically conducted on official Vicroads testing routes where you gain an understanding of the driving test format and procedures including the types of instructions you can expect from the Vicroads testing officer on test day. We have a higher pass rate this way.

We encourage all clients to meet at the Vicroads so the entire driving lesson can be conducted on official testing routes where you gain the advantage to passing the driving test and for best results.

It takes around 1 hour to complete a Vicroads testing route during the driving lesson including clarifying learner driver’s mistakes and a full explanation by the driving instructor. If you cannot make it to your local Vicroads we pick you up from an address of your choice or a local train station.

Hazard Perception Test (HPT)

Book your Hazard Perception Test (HPT). A computer test done in VicRoads offices. The HPT can be booked on the  above link or by calling 131171 or visiting your local VicRoads office.

The Hazard Perception Test is a computer-based test that focuses on scenarios where probationary drivers are more likely to be involved in a crash. The test assesses your ability to recognize and respond to potential hazards in the safest way possible.

The Hazard Perception Test can be taken by novice drivers, those who need to convert to a probationary licensee and those who will convert to a full license.

The Hazard Perception Test needs to be completed before you can take the Drive Test.

To take the Hazard Perception Test you must hold a current Victorian car learner permit and be at least 17 years and 11 months of age. You can now choose to take the test online or in-person.
